Privacy policy

Information we collect

Sesharo only holds what you give it or explicitly connect. There is no hidden collection and no tracking of you across other apps or sites.

• Account information — your email address and display name, so you can sign in and we can reach you.
• What you capture — the events, notes, measurements and metadata you log yourself.
• Connected sources — data synced from third-party services you choose to link, such as a wearable, glucose sensor, calendar or bank. Nothing connects until you turn it on.
• Operational data — the minimal logs needed to keep the service running securely and to diagnose problems.

How we use your information

We use your data for exactly one purpose: to run Sesharo for you — storing what you capture, computing your Trackers, Trends and Insights, and syncing the sources you connected.

The statistics that find relationships in your data are plain, deterministic maths. Where a language model is involved, it is used only to phrase a finding that was already computed, or to read a sentence you typed — never to trawl your history, and never to train a shared model on your data.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for third parties, or any purpose you did not ask for.

Sharing your data

We do not sell your personal data. Period. A product that knows this much about you cannot also be funded by advertising, so it isn't.

• We never sell or rent your data to advertisers or data brokers.
• We share data with infrastructure providers strictly to operate the service (for example, hosting and the databases your data lives in), under confidentiality obligations and only to the extent needed.
• When you connect a third-party source, data flows between it and Sesharo under your authorisation; you can revoke that at any time.
• We may disclose data if genuinely required by law, and will notify you where we are permitted to.

Data retention

Your data is kept for as long as your account is active so that your history and long-run Trends stay intact. You can delete individual entries, disconnect a source, or delete your entire account at any time.

When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from the live system. Disconnecting a source stops future syncing immediately; the history it already contributed remains yours to keep or delete.

Security

Every row of data belongs to exactly one account, and that boundary is enforced by the database itself rather than by application code that has to remember — there is no query path that can accidentally cross it.

Data is encrypted in transit, and the most sensitive fields are additionally encrypted at rest. No system is perfectly secure, but Sesharo is built privacy-first from the storage layer up rather than as an afterthought.

Your rights

Your data is yours, and you stay in control of it at all times.

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Correction — update anything inaccurate.
• Deletion — delete your account and its associated data.
• Portability — export your data, including the signals we derived for you, in a standard format.
